French right-back Sacha Boey is a player playing for Turkish side Galatasaray and has been a rising star for them since his signing from Stade de Rennes in the season 2021-22. The Frenchman is currently the most valuable player in the Turkish league and is already being compared to the Liverpool attacking right-back Trent Alexander-Arnold. He is third with 189 duels and sixth among defenders with 57.45% successful dribbles in the Turkish league.

Recent reports have confirmed that Sacha Boey has reached a verbal agreement with the German side Bayern Munich to sign for them in this winter window. Renowned journalist Fabrizio Romano tweeted his trademark “here we go!” indicating that Bayern, currently facing an injury crisis, has agreed on terms with Galatasaray.
Only final player details and minor paperwork remain, with completion expected in the following weeks, as Boey’s medical has already been scheduled. It is deemed a significant effort from the player’s side as he expressed a desire for Bayern, considering it an “opportunity of a lifetime.”
This news comes after the recent Champions League group stage matches between Bayern and Galatasaray in which the French right-back reportedly impressed the former Chelsea and current Bayern manager Thomas Tuchel. The right-back’s performance was especially good in the Champions League this season.
