WWE star Logan Paul faces Class-Action lawsuit over alleged ‘CryptoZoo’ scam

Logan Paul is infamous for being part of fraudulent schemes for many years now. In fact, the main way he got famous was by click baiting or banking on different controversies both inside and outside the YouTube community. Finally, the Cleveland native might be facing some consequences.

The whole thing started with YouTuber Coffeezilla making a 3-part expose about Logan’s crypto-related game ‘Cryptozoo’. The older Paul brother had already jumped on the crypto bandwagon as he was seen seemingly ‘investing’ and promoting different crypto platforms many of which turned out to be fake.

In response, Paul tried to act all tough and recorded a lackluster response video in which he tried to deflect all responsibilities from his shoulder and place the blame on others. What the final vine star didn’t realize, was that he had basically admitted to all the mismanagement and theft of capital that had occurred.

While he tried to end the video on high horses threatening to sue Coffeezilla for defamation and misrepresentation of information, he later deleted the video and tried to end the controversy there. But people already invested in Crypto seeing his recommendations and got scammed promptly.

The recent class action lawsuit filed against him reads, “Defendants promoted CryptoZoo’s products using Mr. Paul’s online platforms to consumers unfamiliar with digital currency products, leading to tens of thousands of people purchasing said products.”

“Unbeknownst to the customers, the game did not work or never existed, and the Defendants manipulated the digital currency market for Zoo Tokens to their advantage.”

Crypto has proven to be a scam so far on almost all fronts and people probably should think more cleverly about where they put their money. As far as NFT-based games go, big companies like Ubisoft have tried their hand and received almost universal backlash apart from some usual Cryptobros.

We hope Logan gets properly punished for all his crimes.
