Recently, it was announced that Purdy has decided to embrace family roots with his new deal.
Fresh endorsement deal for Brock Purdy with corn company
Brock Purdy has signed an endorsement deal with a Corn company. Reportedly, he has partnered with the major producer of corn seeds, Pioneer Seed, to honor his family roots.
The parents of Purdy’s wife, Jenna, are from Iowa and own a farm. Because of his wife and in-laws’ agricultural background, the QB opted for this new deal.
Pioneer Seed announced their deal with Brock Purdy earlier this week and posted a promo video in which the QB can be seen wearing a green No. 1 jersey with Pioneer’s logo and holding a bag of seed corn.
In the voiceover, the QB talked about his wife’s parents’ agricultural background as well.
“I’ve had the chance to harvest some Pioneer corn on my in-laws’ farm firsthand last fall,” he said. “And I’m excited about our brands teaming up. Let’s go dominate the field this year.”
Brock Purdy, who surprised his teacher continues to sign lucrative deals, as he recently signed a national partnership with Toyota. He also has a deal with a new sports drink brand, RECOVER 180.
However, the main focus of the QB is still football but if he is sidelined in the upcoming season, the 49ers will have another solid option.
Are 49ers confident in Josh Dobbs as Brock Purdy’s backup?
The San Francisco 49ers have a talented starting QB, Brock Purdy but in case he is sidelined, the team can rely on Josh Dobbs, who took the NFL throne from Taylor Swift.
Dobbs has shown remarkable performance as a QB with the Cardinals and Vikings. The team can let him start the games through half a season.
In case Brock Purdy misses eight games, the team can still aim to reach the playoffs with Dobbs playing as a QB. However, winning games in the playoffs can become difficult for Dobbs.
Brock Purdy is still an important part of the team. His occasional absence from the game won’t affect the team’s performance much, as Josh Dobbs is expected to handle it. But if he is absent for a long time, that could decrease the team’s chances of reaching the playoffs.
