Perth’s RAC Arena hosted yesterday’s octagon clash between Islam Makhachev and Alexander Volkanovski in the UFC284 event. With scores of 48-47, 48-47, and 49-46 in favor, Makhachev successfully defended his lightweight title against Alexander Volkanovski.

The former light heavyweight and heavyweight champion of the UFC Daniel Cormier showed a bit of surprise saying, ”That was a bad scorecard. 3-2 Volk lost nothing tonight. He fought better than anyone thought he could. He is as good as anyone at any weight in the world. Great fight overall”
