Chiefs TE Travis Kelce’s outstanding first pitch at the Reds vs Royals game earned Patrick Mahomes’ praise

The Kansas City Chiefs headed to the President’s house a few days back to celebrate their recent Super Bowl victory and tight end Travis Kelce along with his quarterback Patrick Mahomes got another chance to celebrate the glory during the 2023 Major League Baseball season.

Kelce showcased his arm strength and accuracy on the pitcher’s mound by throwing out the ceremonial first pitch, leaving spectators in awe and garnering high praise from his Super Bowl Champion quarterback and teammate, Mahomes.

Travis Kelce’s pitching technique is getting better

The Chiefs Captain Patrick, his teammate Kelce alongside the franchise’s cheerleaders and mascot KC Wolf attended the ‘Chiefs Night’ held by the Kansas City Royals to celebrate the reigning Super Bowl champions on Monday night and the Chiefs TE, as the honorary guest to throw the ceremonial first pitch, took center stage, displaying his versatility beyond the football field.

Unlike a tough first ‘first pitch’ during the 2023 Major League Baseball season at Kauffman Stadium back in April, the Ohio native got the much-needed opportunity to redeem himself by making a successful delivery of a proper strike to Bobby Witt Jr.

Well! It might not be the best first pitch, however, the Super Bowl champion showcased a sight of improvement from his throw to Shane Bieber in Cleveland a few months back as it bounced off the ground before changing directions.

Patrick Mahomes praises Kelce’s outstanding first pitch

From saving Travis from the embarrassment of delivering a viral speech at the presidential podium to taking a funny dig at him following his first pitch, Mahome has always been here to lift and pull the leg of his teammate.

The Chiefs two-time MVP QB watched in awe as his fellow teammate unleashed his pitching talent and took to Twitter to heap praise for his fellow athlete saying, “HEā€™S BACK!!!” following Kansas City TE’s successful first pitch delivery.

Pat was also quick to make fun of the tight end following his dirty first pitch during the Cleveland Guardians home opener as he tweeted, “Ayyyyyy bruhhhhhhhhh” tagging him with several laughing while crying and skull emojis in the tweet.

With his exceptional athleticism and dedication to the craft, Travis has already solidified his place in the annals of football history and the Chiefs fans are waiting to see Mahomes lifting another Lombardi Trophy along with his big weapons.
