Apart from being filthy rich, UFC President Dana White and Tesla CEO Elon Musk don’t have that much in common. Although they belong to different worlds, Dana did not shy away from trolling Elon Musk back in the day.
Dana White has quite the presence inside the UFC, and on social media. The man known for leading the UFC to the pinnacle of the MMA world has quite the intense personality, and never backs away from saying what he feels. More often than not he does not filter what he says. Although some people might prefer some opinions or rebuttals to be less explicit, per say, Dana has forged quite the reputation through his “I Say What I Want” mentality.
Dana went in with the same ideology when he responded to a Tweet by Elon Musk. Musk, who is currently the richest man in the world, is also very active on social media. He tweets his thoughts regularly, and as well as he regularly responds to tweets as well.
In a random tweet, however, he got trolled by the UFC President. Musk took to twitter with a simple post, stating, “Florida Time”. Then, the UFC boss replied to the post with his classic new line, “Khabib time”. Dana was referring to a comment by then UFC Lightweight Champion Khabib Nurmagomedov in response to Tony Ferguson.
There was no animosity between the Dana and Musk, as it was seen by the crowd as a simple joke. Musk was also a member of the Board of Directors of Endeavor Group Holdings, Inc- the conglomerate that owns the UFC. He left in March of 2022.
