Days after awful display in sparring session with KSI, IShowSpeed agrees to fight Youtuber Kai Cenat

KSI and Speed engaged in a friendly sparring session, on 15 December, the same night Jake Paul faced Andre August in the ring. KSI and Jake Paul are considered arch-rivals, and KSI guaranteed to get more viewers on his sparring session than Jake Paul’s fight.

KSI had previously defeated Jake’s brother, Logan Paul, in an amateur fight in 2018. American streamers Darren, better known as IShowSpeed, and Kai Cenat have agreed to face each other in a fight. They were on a live video chat when Kai challenged Speed to a fight.

IShowSpeed agrees to fight Kai Cenat

The agreement took place live on Cenat’s stream as he was shadow-boxing during a video call with IShowSpeed. After the latter remarked on his boxing by claiming that he would easily beat him, Cenat hit back and offered to fight him next year in March.

A verbal agreement between the two followed, with Cenat saying, “Speed, you won’t beat my **s. You literally got your **s beat bro! Aye, you got your **s beat. Next year in March? Alright, so you want me to send the contract over? You ain’t gonna do it for real? Look at me, look at me!”

This fight agreement has garnered many reactions from fans. They both have almost the same fan base as they released a song together and share a good relationship with each other. However, some fans seem excited to see these YouTubers in the ring together, while some called it “a fight no one will watch.”

IShowSpeed humbled by KSI in sparring session

KSI has had some experience in the sport with 4-2-1 record, on the other hand IShowSpeed has no professional experience in the sport. KSI appreciated Speed for having the courage to do sparring with him in the ring.

KSI mostly just threw body shots throughout the sparring session, so it wasn’t that competitive, but he still managed to drop Speed multiple times. Speed was not content to end the battle there. He kept yelling, “It’s not over, bro,” and seemed to be crying afterward.

After that, Speed left the spot and declined to shake hands with KSI, though it’s more probable that he did this for show than out of true outrage. Speed is expected to be seen in the ring against Kai in March, whereas there is no certainty about KSI’s future fights.
