Potential timeline for Mysterio’s recovery
In November 2023, Rey Mysterio suffered an injury to his right knee. The injury was reportedly sustained during a match against Santos Escobar on an episode of WWE SmackDown. Mysterio underwent surgery on November 14, 2023, and was expected to be out of action for six to eight weeks.
In Mysterio’s case, he will be able to return to the ring in January 2024, after just two months of recovery, suggesting that he may have had a less severe injury than some other athletes who have suffered torn menisci.
