“Everybody has a chance”: Kamaru Usman defends Jake Paul’s slim chance to defeat Nate Diaz or Jorge Masvidal in MMA

Kamaru Usman wouldn’t be surprised if Jake Paul beat Jorge Masvidal or Nate Diaz in an MMA match. A YouTuber-turned-boxer recently talked about the idea of joining the PFL to fight either Masvidal or Diaz and offered both fighters $10 million to fight him.

Kamaru Usman took his time to respond to Jake Paul’s PFL claims, despite numerous doubts. In a recent podcast, the ex-UFC welterweight champion acknowledged that in the unpredictable world of fighting, anything is possible. According to Usman, Paul has a chance to create a major surprise and leave the world in awe.

“Honestly, at this point, I don’t even know what to think anymore. I don’t completely say it’s a wash that Jake has no chance in there. Everybody has a chance, and like I said, the world is upside down for me right now; it’s not far-fetched. It could happen,” said Kamaru Usman via Pound 4 Pound podcast.

Paul is diligently preparing for his highly anticipated boxing match against the iconic Mike Tyson, scheduled for July 20th. Despite the skepticism from fans, both Paul and Tyson are fully committed to this fight. In addition, Paul mentioned that he plans to begin MMA training following his upcoming boxing match.

Meanwhile, Masvidal and Diaz are fully occupied with promoting and preparing for their upcoming boxing match on June 1st. Despite Paul’s interest, both Diaz and Masvidal have already declined the PFL fight offer.

Jorge Masvidal slams Jake Paul’s $10 million PFL offer

Jake Paul reaffirmed his $10 million MMA offer to Jorge Masvidal and Nate Diaz, emphasizing his commitment to the proposal.

In his podcast, BS w/ Jake Paul, he criticized Nate Diaz and Jorge Masvidal for not engaging in serious discussions or negotiations about potential fights. Paul said, “The offer still stands there. Either Masvidal or Diaz in the PFL.”

Although Masvidal has received permission from the UFC to explore boxing before his return to the octagon, he didn’t hold back in criticizing Jake Paul for his MMA challenge.

He said on the MMA Hour, “You’re talking about the PFL; the f*** are you going to do in MMA? Are you kidding me? You can’t even box.” With yet another scathing remark, he threatened to break off Jake Paul’s kneecap.

It seems extremely unlikely that Jake will be stepping into the cage with Masvidal or Diaz in the near future. So, which opponent would you like to see Jake face in his next fight after Mike Tyson? Let us know in the comments section.
