Fans suspect Jake Paul’s workout picture to be photoshopped since it strikingly similar to Conor McGregor’s image

Jake Paul has arguably the most important boxing match of his life coming up on February 26th against Tommy Fury. It is a long-established practice of the former Youtuber to feed off controversy and looks like he is trying to stir up more as he posts pictures of his workout which seems very similar to Conor McGregor.

A move like this is not unexpected from someone like Jake as he doesn’t seem to possess a lot of positive creativity. Moreover, such a move seems to work as despite all the online hate, many combat sports fans can be found talking on the matter. The young Paul knows, the more attention he gets, the more money he will probably end up making.

Why is Jake Paul trying to copy Conor McGregor?

The first reason is pretty simple, ‘Mystic Mac’ is somehow still arguably the biggest name in all of MMA. His last significant win was years ago against a washed-up Cowboy Cerrone but fans can’t get enough of the Irish. Recently, he got announced as a coach for one of the next TUF seasons against ‘Iron’ Michael Chandler.

‘The Problem Child’ is also doing pretty much everything he can to build up this fight. Tommy’s father John and brother Tyson have been talking up their fighter for a good while now. The former Vine Star didn’t hesitate to go against the entire Fury family with his words. He took a shot at ‘TNT’ and his father saying,

“Tommy Fury is scared. Told my team he can’t make the kick-off press conference next week in Saudi Arabia because he needs more time to train. Thought you said you wouldn’t even have to train to fight me? You and your papa scared.”

Jake has also acquired a stake in the PFL promotion and many expect him to permanently move to MMA regardless of what happens on February 26th.
