Fans worried after Cody Rhodes shares health update following victory over Damian Priest at WWE live event: “Take care of yourself”

WWE superstar American Nightmare Cody Rhodes is one of the most loved superstar in the WWE. Rhodes is the founding member and former executive vice president of All-Elite Wrestling (AEW), and has been a member of the industry from a very young age.

The 38-year-old superstar recently shared his health issues with the WWE universe and the news has taken social media by storm. Fans of Cody’s are sharing their concern with tweets of their own and wishes the superstar to take the matter as a potential danger to his health.

The master of Cross Rhodes has been in the business for decades now, and he knows the physical toll this profession has on people. During a WWE Live Event in Place Bell, Montreal, Quebec, Canada, Cody had a fight scheduled with Judgment Day member Damian Priest, the superstar posted on his official Twitter/X account that just before he made his entrance he vomited and it was like ‘half of his body weight’ went missing.

Following this tweet, WWE universe responded with their concerns and asked of his wellbeing. One fan tweeted, “Hope you’re good bro. Take care of yourself. You see what’s going on with Omega. We don’t need another Goat in the hospital”. Other fans also shared their best wishes to the superstar and suggested him to take ‘take care’ of himself.

This is not Cody’s first visit toa doctor, in mid-October 2023, Rhodes suffered a serious “ankle injury” after a collision against Judgment Day. Fans are worried that with Royal Rumble weeks away, if Cody fails to join the Rumble due to health issues then that would be a huge disappointment.

Damian Priest and Cody Rhodes have had their fair share of feuds in WWE. Both superstar have fought in Crown Jewel, Survivor Series WarGames and now on the live tour event. The match was a Last Man Standing Match, one of the toughest category matches that puts one’s body through a lot of physical pressure.

During the match Priest and Rhodes used a lot of weapons to knock one another, like kendo sticks, chairs and even tables. Both surpassed their limits to defeat the other and claim the win, though ultimately Cody took the victory after a successful finishing maneuver.

The WWE Live Event in Quebec, in the city of Montreal, was a successful event for the company. The triple threat main event between Seth Rollins, Drew McIntyre and Shinsuke Nakamura for the WWE World Heavyweight Title was the most hyped match of the tour. Although Rollins successfully defended his championship, the match was still a sight to see for the fans and was enjoyable experience.

Fans hope to see Cody make a quick recovery from his illness and are anticipating the American Nightmare’s Royal Rumble match in the premium event on 2024 at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Florida.
