One of the biggest controversies in this offseason was the contract extension of Justin Jefferson. Jefferson, the wide receiver of the Minnesota Vikings, is one of the most talented wide receivers in the NFL. However, he wasn’t offered any contract which was worth his talents. The NFL regular season is starting tomorrow, and he hasn’t signed any contract yet.
But now, his contract is under discussion again. Amid these discussions, Donald Trump’s video is getting viral in which he made a shocking prediction about the WR’s future.
Donald Trump’s 2019 prediction for Justin Jefferson nears reality
After the recent update about Justin Jefferson’s contract, an old video of Donald Trump went viral in which he predicted the WR’s future.
In 2019, Justin Jefferson had an impressive performance in the Peach Bowl, where he had 14 catches for 227 yards and 4 touchdowns. Trump foresaw Jefferson’s future wealth. He said that Jefferson will be very rich in the future, and we are looking at money right now.
“He’s gonna be so rich. We’re looking at money,” Trump said.

It seems like his predictions are coming true now. According to recent reports, Jefferson is set to soon sign a new contract with the Vikings which will make him one of the highest-paid wide receivers in the NFL.
Justin Jefferson rumored to receive NFL contract making him highest-paid WR
Justin Jefferson is still under a contract with the Vikings. But the team is still adamant about offering him a new contract that is worth his talents.
General manager Kwesi Adofo-Mensah of the Vikings said in February that extending Jefferson is one of their top priorities. He said that he doesn’t want to be the general manager of the Vikings if Jefferson is not on the team.
“I don’t want to be the Vikings GM without that guy on our team,” Adofo-Mensah said. “So it’s a high priority. We’ve got to make sure we do in the order that we can do it in, obviously, given all of our other decisions we have to make.”
Jefferson also once talked about a new contract saying that it’s one of his dreams to get one, “a dream of mine. It’s been a dream since I was 7 years old.”
He also shared that he’s focusing on winning Super Bowl more than getting a new contract.
“I’m definitely not letting that contract stuff get in the way of my team. We have to be focused on getting to the Super Bowl.”
But according to recent reports, he will soon get a new contract which will make him the highest-paid wide receiver in the league. Currently, Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill is the highest-paid WR with an average of $30 million per year. It means the Vikings are considering signing a contract worth more than $30 million with the wide receiver. Let’s see what the Vikings will offer to Justin Jefferson to keep him with the team.
