Former Vikings RB Dalvin Cook drops subtle hint on his next desired NFL move

After being released by the Minnesota Vikings almost two weeks ago, star running back Dalvin Cook has been in hot weather, however, the free agent seems adamant to land on his next NFL home that would recognize his value and offer a lucrative contract to lock him for the upcoming seasons.

Reportedly, Cook is going to wait until summer to finalize a new deal, however, the RB set the NFL world abuzz with his recent social media interaction by dropping some major hints for his potential next destination for the 2023 NFL season.

Dalvin Cook expressed a desire to join the Dolphins few days back

The former Pro Bowler earlier expressed eagerness to join the Miami Dolphins squad during his recent appearance on Sirius XM’s NFL Radio and marked himself as a ‘perfect fit’ for Miami,

“As a running back you look for a certain scheme and I know the scheme that I’m good in, and that’s outside zone, and that’s what the Miami Dolphins run. So it’s like, you know, it’d be a perfect fit. And the roster, like you said, speaks for itself.”

The 27-year-old showcased his desire to appear donning the Dolphins jersey on the football in the QB Tua Tagovailoa while heaping praise on his track record of success,

“I think that defense is pretty solid to me. Tua [ Tagovailoa ], when he’s out on the field, they got a winning record.”

Cook revealed getting linked to the Jets heavily, albeit he said his main focus will be to become that lost piece of the puzzle to contribute in crucial moments,

“A lot of people got me pegged going back home. A lot of people got me going to the Jets. It’s all over the place right now, but what’s gonna be important for me is just going to that right situation and helping somebody turn the page.”

“I want to go and be the piece that can just help somebody win and get over the hump and whatever that situation comes with, if it comes with me taking less reps, but me being in the perfect situation to hold up that trophy, I don’t mind,” he added.

The free agent generates more theories with social media interaction

Dalvin earlier created suspense on Twitter on June 24 by retweeting the former New England executive Mike Lombardi’s comment on the Pat McAfee Show about why he would be a good fit in Bill Belichick’s New England Patriots.

The ex-Vikings athlete also liked some tweets discussing him joining the Patriots, including one tweet saying, “Dalvin Cook, you are a #Patriot” with a video of the free agent scoring an 81-yard touchdown against the Buffalo Bills last season.

Despite being named a Pro Bowler in each of his final four seasons in Minnesota, the football star’s potential landing in the Patriots team seems quite impossible in the presence of Rhamondre Stevenson, albeit the team’s HC Belichick is famous for his unpredictable moves, and has never been loyal to any players except the former legendary quarterback Tom Brady.

However, the former Florida State player also liked tweets about him joining the Dolphins and Jets in the last few days.
