Francis Ngannou sends brutal warning to Tyson Fury amid accusations against UFC’s intention to cancel the match

Francis Ngannou, the former UFC heavyweight champion, has issued a stern warning to Tyson Fury, asserting that he will put the British boxer to sleep when they clash in the boxing ring.

Fans eagerly anticipate this long-awaited crossover fight, scheduled for October 28 in Saudi Arabia, operating under boxing rules. However, Fury’s prized WBC heavyweight title will not be on the line in this bout.

The desire for a showdown with Fury has been a longstanding aspiration for Ngannou, and this dream is finally turning into reality after his departure from the UFC earlier this year.

Francis Ngannou issues stern warning to Tyson Fury

Inking a deal with the rival MMA promotion PFL, Ngannou finds himself in a unique position where he can delve into the world of boxing while still being under an MMA contract.

This sets the stage for an intriguing and highly anticipated clash between two exceptional fighters from different combat sports realms.

“My ultimate dream has always been to don the boxing gloves and challenge the very best. This is my golden opportunity to make that lifelong dream come true and solidify my claim as the most fearsome individual on the planet.

All I can say to Tyson at this stage is that he better be nimble in that squared circle because if I lay a hand on him, he’ll be counting sheep,” Francis confidently stated.

In the Fury vs. Ngannou bout, three judges will utilize the traditional 10-point must system to score the fight. Which will consist of ten rounds, with each round lasting three minutes.

Despite Frank Warren, Fury’s promoter, making it clear that this is not an exhibition match. The potential impact on their professional records remains uncertain.

Francis Ngannou’s manager accuses UFC to try to cancel the Tyson Fury match

Ngannou’s manager, Marquel Martin, has shared his thoughts on the UFC’s response to the heavyweight’s recent monumental announcement. After years of frustration, Francis once again defied doubters when it was revealed that he would face Tyson as his next opponent.

‘The Predator’ is set to earn a significant payday, rumored to be worth at least $10 million, and will bask in the spotlight of such a massive event. All this while still being under contract with the PFL. Where he signed a lucrative deal with additional personal benefits earlier this year.

During an appearance on The MMA Hour, Ngannou’s manager, Marquel Martin, discussed UFC President Dana White’s actions, accusing him of attempting to sabotage the Fury deal.

“Dana is one of the best promoters that we’ve ever seen,” Martin clarified. “I’ll always say that. So when we saw it, we just kind of [were] like, ‘Of course.’ Right? Of course you would say, on one end. It’s a gimmick fight and then on the other hand, it comes to where it’s like. ‘Oh no, we’ll put that on.’ So I’m sure that they wanted that fight.”

Ngannou and Fury are scheduled to face off in an exhibition match on October 28 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
