“He’s salty towards the Fury’s” Deontay Wilder’s Jake Paul winning claim over Tommy Fury receives heavy backlash from fans

A lot of questions were answered on February 26th when Jake Paul and Tommy Fury finally fought it out at the Diriyah Arena. Tommy had managed to preserve his family’s reputation while his opponent went home with a lot of money. But now Deontay Wilder’s Jake Paul victory claim has upset many fans.

After the fight, Deontay had this to say regarding the judging, “I think Jake got that one. That referee, that was an immature point taken. I think Jake Paul needed that knockdown and when he did it evened it out. It was an immature point. The referee is supposed to give him at least three warnings. He gave him no warnings – get out of here.”

The fans who thought the fight result was fair did not react very kindly to Wilder’s statements. Some have brought forth the 3 losses against Tyson to be a potential reason behind the ‘Bronze Bomber’s statements. Before the fight, both rivals came face to face and had a rather jolly interaction where things looked normal.

Other than Tyson and Wilder, big names like Derek Chisora, Mike Tyson, John Fury, and, Christiano Ronaldo were also present at the fight.

Are Deontay Wilder’s claims about Jake Paul a recent phenomenon?

Non-biased and impartial opinions are respected by most people. But it seems like Deontay could have been persuaded by his previous failure to get the job done against ‘The Gypsy king’. But such practices are nothing new and very recently we saw another similar situation in UFC.

When Islam Makhachev defeated Alexander Volkanovski in his first title defense in Perth, the challenger’s team was not happy at all. Dan Hooker dropped a bombshell claim about Makhachev cheating. The allegations were proven to be wrong and fans pointed out ‘Hangman’s earlier loss against the Dagestani to play a role behind such baseless claims.

How did you score the Jake paul vs Tommy Fury fight?
