“I have always been envious” A dig into Andy Roddick’s enviousness towards Roger Federer’s life management

Former American World No. 1 tennis star Andy Roddick, 39, won many major tournaments on his enormous career but recently came to the spotlight after expressing a brutally honest view towards one of the greatest players of all time, Roger Federer.

Despite being younger than the Swiss sensation, Roddick never showed disrespects and disappointing expressions whenever he was asked to talk about King Federer.

Reasons behind Andy Roddick’s jealousy for Roger Federer

On a recent interview, the former ATP master Andy Roddick said that Roger Federer had always made him envious on numerous occasions and the reality is, on 24 head-to-head contests, the American has only three victories over the Swiss Maestro.

Roddick then explained his weird expression against Roger by saying that, “I have always been envious of the ease with which Roger Federer manages his life.”

The American then elaborated his opinion by claiming that Federer impacted on the former players by different aspects and he never showed disrespects to anyone on the court which also made him one of the greatest human being to ever grace a tennis field.

Andy praised Roger after saying, “Either way, Roger is a beautiful person. I am not surprised that, in the eyes of some, he takes the form of a hero.”

How Federer is coping up with his recent issues?

Despite losing records on the hands of Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nadal, the Swiss superstar is still keen on returning to the court on future events like Laver Cup in 2022.

Last year, The King made a cautious comeback, but it was immediately apparent how out of shape he was and in just 13 official games in 2021, the Basel native, recorded nine victories and four defeats.

Roger’s greatest season achievements were the quarterfinals at Wimbledon and the round of 16 at Roland Garros, a pitiful haul for a legend of his stature.

His injury prone 2021 and 2022 seasons actually disappointed the fans from experiencing his magnificent skills with the racquets but his firm determination to return to the court to compete with experienced and fresh bloods would definitely give new hopes for the spectators.
