“I’ll take that offer”: Ryan Garcia accepts Devin Haney challenge after Gervonta Davis boxing bout

Devin Haney is completely focused on his upcoming boxing bout but he hasn’t stopped thinking about his opponent for the future battle. The winner of the match between Ryan Garcia and Gervonta Davis has already been offered a fight by “The Dream,” and Ryan has already given the go-ahead for the bout.

What did Devin Haney say about fighting the winner of Ryan Garcia vs Gervonta Davis fight?

In the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas on May 20, Haney is slated to face Vasyl Lomachenko. The 24-year-old boxer has stated in an interview with BoxingScene.com that he would like to face either Tank or Flash KingRy, whichever prevails in the rivalry.

“Yeah, of course [I would stay at 135 pounds to fight Davis]. I would love to stay at 135 to fight the biggest names. It all starts May 20. I have to be victorious in my next fight and those fights will line up.” Devin said

On April 22 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Garcia vs. Gervonta, the biggest boxing match of the year, will finally take place. Devin has already a long-standing dispute with Garcia. Hence there is a higher possibility that the two will want to settle their clash in the ring.

“If Ryan was to win, we can possibly get it on at 140. Obviously, the world knows I have trouble making 135. Maybe we can do it at 140 or even 135. No rehydration [clause]. I never do rehydration [clauses]. The biggest fights are in the 135-pound division.” Devin added.

Once he finished beating Tank on Saturday, Garcia (23-0) agreed to take on the undisputed lightweight champion. Now, the agreement surrounding their likely battle will be completed if Ryan and Haney (29-0) both win their upcoming contests.
