Jake Paul draws mockery from boxing fans for his comment on Andre August before their December 15 bout

Influencer turned boxer Jake Paul once again will feature in a boxing bout this month. The matchup will take place in Florida’s Caribe Royal Hotel. This boxing match will be something that Paul believes will be his toughest challenge so far.

The YouTuber last fought against Nate Diaz this year earlier in August winning the bout via Unanimous Decision. Paul is preparing for the boxing match but being a social media influencer, he knows how to promote the fight as he commented on his opponent’s social media post.

What is Jake Paul’s comment on Andre August?

Jake Paul is preparing to fight against American Boxer Andre August on December 15th. This bout of Jake Paul won’t be a Pay-Per-View event which means it will not air with PPV. Andre is having 10-1-1 record in boxing but the experience of a 35-year-old can be the real trouble for the YouTuber turned-boxer.

Recently August posted a photo on social media where he is doing Shush captioning it with, “10 days. Nothing needs to be said, I’ll Let my hands do the talking. Andre August vs. Jake Paul. Live on @daznboxing, Friday, December 15th.”

Jake Paul came up with a reply which he believed as hilarious enough to divert the focus of Andre August with trash-talking.

He wrote, “I love when you SHUSH me, Daddy”.

Many fans found the comment funny, but there was a good number of them who were quick to roast the YouTuber turned boxer.

Boxing fans are trolling Jake Paul for his comment on Andre August

Jake Paul is one of the funniest trash talkers on social media. His funny retorts to his opponents have always been a trademark Jake Paul thing. But since the time he became a boxer, the social media influencer has come under intense scrutiny for his trash-talking.

Same has been the reaction from fans after he commented on Andre August’s post, and many were quick to troll Jake Paul.

One fan commented “Jake Paul has always been zesty I remember his face-off with Tyrone Woodley” indicating how Paul made face when he had a face-off with former UFC champion Tyrone Woodley.

Another fan commended his smartness to keep the viewers fired up, “He made sure to protect his P4P meat riding status”

Another defended his trash-talking as something that has already become a part of the star’s brand, “Buddy, Jake Paul is simply being Jake Paul! It’s high time people see that as his brand.”

Some fans started to question Jake’s sexuality calling him bisexual or “Gay” referring to Problem Child’s loss against Tommy Fury turned him gay.

This is the first time Jake Paul will not be featuring the pay-per-view event for his bout. This, however, is not a problem for him but an opportunity to bring more viewers to watch his fight. Since the win against Nate Diaz, the 26-year-old has been looking for a rematch against Fury which he believes he will get this time after beating Andre August. Paul has also entered PFL MMA where he will have at least one fight at the start of the year 2024.
