Kelvin Gastelum vs Chris Curtis added to the card for UFC 287

Kelvin Gastelum is struggling in the Ultimate Fighting Championship, having lost five of his six UFC fights to big names like Israel Adesanya, Darren Till, Robert Whittaker, and, most recently, Jared Cannoniare.

This California native holds a record of sixteen wins and eight losses out of his twenty-five professional MMA appearances.

Recently, the 31-year-old was ruled out of the fight during the first UFC event of 2023 where he was supposed to face Nassourdine Imavov due to a tooth injury sustained in the training, but amidst all this negativity, Gastelum got an opponent for his fight at UFC 287.

Kelvin Gastelum will face Chris Curtis in a middleweight bout on April 8, 2023.

The current 14th-ranked UFC middleweight Chris Curtis has won 30 times and suffered nine losses in the octagon in his 39 professional MMA appearances.

The former PFL fighter joined the UFC in October 2021, and his first bout took place in November 2021, where he knocked out Phil Hawes. In his last appearance at UFC 282, the Action Man sealed a big win over Joaquin Buckley with a second-round KO.

So, UFC fans are excited about the fight because both fighters would like to secure a tense victory over the other. Now take a look at the updated fight card for UFC 287.
