Logan Paul brother is adamant on rematch clause in contract for Jake Paul vs Tommy Fury

The anticipated fight between the two young boxers, Jake Paul and Tommy Fury, is finally going to take place on February 26. Previously the fight was called off twice for some issues that came up at the last moment.

Even though the repetitive events didn’t go any further than an announcement but this time it’s looking promising. Recently, Jake Paul has insisted on a rematch clause in the contract for his long-awaited grudge fights against his rival, Tommy Fury.

The pair faced each other earlier at Wembley Arena in London before the final showdown in Saudi Arabia. There were some heated arguments between the fighters on stage. Tyson Fury was there present too. And he was laughing in the background while seeing the trash talk between the two.

However, the gypsy king later took the opportunity to meet with the social media influencer and share his thoughts with him.

This is roughly the third time Jake Paul vs. Tommy Fury has been announced. Both previous fights were subsequently canceled. Both times, the 23-year-old was the one who backed out. Tommy withdrew from the fight in 2021 due to a bacterial chest infection and a broken rib. Then in 2022, again but this time he was denied entry to the U.S. due to his family’s ties with Irish crime boss Daniel Kinahan.

Regardless, the third Paul vs. Fury bout will be contested over eight rounds at 185 pounds and will air on ESPN+ and BT Sport.

At the ring, the conversation between the 27-year-old and the 23-year-old was a little bit childish. The social media personality told the British boxer, “He’s fought taxi drivers, he has no chin, it’s all joke,”

Jake continued, “I’m ending you February 26 and you already know it. You’re going to crack under this moment, you’re not built for this moment.”

Afterward Fury fired back at Paul by saying, “I was beating better people than you when I was 14 in the amateurs., whilst you were messing around on Disney channel so don’t come here pretending you’re about it when you’re not. I am not an MMA fighter, I will school you.”

This is a very rare scenario to see when a rematch clause becomes public. However, many social influencers have a different take on it. For instance, KSI thinks, it’s relatively standard for the A-Side fighter in a major main event. He also thinks it’s very normal with every big match like this one.

Paul and Fury both have yet to taste defeat in their boxing careers, so it will be intriguing to watch who breaks their winning streak first.

Despite the fact that the 23-year-old is under far more strain than anyone else in his corner right now. His father, John Fury, has stated that if he loses the bout to the social media personality, he will have to quit boxing.
