Magic’s SG Kevon Harris reveals how things got heated between Mo Bamba-Austin Rivers during game vs Timberwolves

The Minnesota Timberwolves vs. Orlando Magic game produced a chaotic and shocking scene at the Target Center on Friday night. The Magic’s shooting guard, Kevon Harris, had provided a narrative when the brawl started.

During the third quarter, when the Magic were leading by 10 points, their center Mohamed Bamba came off the bench and started wrestling with the Wolves’ guard Austin Rivers. The brawl resulted in them being ejected from the game, along with two other Timberwolves and one Magic player.

How did the fight start, according to Kevon Harris?

Kevon was sitting at a person’s distance on the bench when the two notorious started interacting. After Rivers missed a three-pointer throw, the 7-foot-tall footed Bamba made a burning comment. “All he said was ‘This ain’t high school no mo’ when he missed the 3,” the 25-year-old revealed.

The derogatory remark from a 24-year-old irritated the 11-year-old experienced professional. The argument got heated up and escalated into a full-blown brawl on the court. Following that, the Wolves’ Jaden McDaniels and Taurean Prince, as well as the Magic’s Jalen Sluggs, became involved.

Following the incident, the official ejected the five players from the game, and the NBA suspended the culprits. Snuggs was also handed a one-game suspension, and McDaniels was fined for their role in the incident; however, Prince was the fortunate one-got away without any penalty.

On the other hand, Austin claimed he felt inappropriate language from the bench and confronted them and the magic bench became violent.

The wolves are in the seventh seed with a 29–27 record in the western conference, and the Magic are in the 13th seed in the eastern conference with a 22–32 record.
