Michael Chandler urges Conor McGregor to urinate following the Irishman’s social media rant: “I’m the real BMF”

Michael Chandler is a professional mixed martial artist from the United States currently fighting in the Ultimate Fighting Championship’s Lightweight category. Following Justin Gaethje’s victory at UFC 291, he reacted by urging Conor McGregor to sign up for the USADA testing pool. McGregor had gone on a social media rampage claiming to be the “real BMF.”

“Iron”, who has been eyeing a fight with McGregor, tweeted ‘just pee in the cup, it ain’t that complicated.’ Irishman’s reaction suggests that his anticipated course, which was going to involve a confrontation with Chandler, may have changed. “The Highlight’s” elevation to the BMF title, though, makes Notorious appear interested in taking a different approach for his much-anticipated return to the cage. On the other side, Chandler presented himself as a potential replacement for Gaethje’s first title defense.

Conor McGregor claims the BMF title

After Justin Gaethje won at UFC 291 and became the second-ever BMF champion after Jorge Masvidal, Conor McGregor laid his claim to the belt in a recent tweet. In a tweet, the 35 years old called himself a “bad motherf***er”, and challenged Gaethje to a battle for the title, making it clear that he is not interested in taking on Michael Chandler as previously anticipated. McGregor’s tweets have attracted interest in the MMA world, as he has been dismissive of the BMF title battle since its inception.

The 34 years old, on the other hand, responded to McGregor‘s tweet storm by claiming that the Irishman had previously turned him down many times and questioned the reason behind it. He doesn’t seem to be much bothered by the possibility of competing against former Ultimate Fighting Championship Featherweight and Lightweight Champion for the BMF championship, despite his interest.

Chandler claps back at the Notorious

Conor McGregor was unable to hold back from commenting on social media in the wake of Justin Gaethje’s spectacular victory over Dustin Poirier at UFC 291. “The Highlight” had requested a fight with the victor of the Islam Makhachev vs. Charles Oliveira rematch from UFC 294, but Notorious opted to enter the fray for a shot at the BMF (Baddest Mother F*****r) championship, which Gaethje now held following his decisive victory.

“Iron” quickly responded to McGregor’s tweet, asking him to comply with the drug testing rules, stating, “Just pee in the cup @TheNotoriousMMA it ain’t that complicated.”

While the current UFC BMF Champion is not much intrigued by the prospect of a fight with McGregor, Chandler appeared ready for the opportunity to challenge Gaethje for the BMF championship, hinting that the anticipated Chandler vs. McGregor fight was not a done deal at this point.
