Jon Jones is now making his return to the octagon next month to face the former UFC heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic.
Fans do expect this fight to be a close one, but the betting odds and the mixed martial arts enthusiasts heavily favor Jon Jones, who is widely considered the GOAT of the UFC in the eyes of the audience.
Jon Jones highlights resemblance to LeBron’s daughter
Jon Jones, has been the most dominant heavyweight in the UFC. Dana White the CEO of UFC himself believes that Jon Jones is the best fighter in the whole UFC roaster.
During the build up to Jon’s fight with Cyril the press once compared Cyril to Lebron James, this frustrated Jon as Cyril was not even a champion, thus this comparison made no sense to him.
Jon had this to say, “Ciryl’s LeBron James? Already he’s LeBron James? How did he get to LeBron James’ status? You hear Ciryl talking about wanting to win this fight to considered the GOAT. It just doesn’t work that way.”
Some fans took this comparison in a very wrong way as well. Many thought there was beef between Lebron and Jon. NBA veteran James Johnson even claimed he could beat Jon Jones with just one year of training.
Jones to defend UFC heavyweight title next month
After beating Cyril Gane on the UFC 285 card, Jones was showered with praises, as he had to overcome a lot of adversities before stepping back into the octagon, even Mike Tyson praised him.
Jon Jones is set to face Stipe Miocic in the coming UFC 295 card. The card is less than a month away. This fight will not at all be an easy one as Stipe does have a lot of experience as a former heavyweight champion.
The build up to this fight has been insane. The coming press conferences and the weigh-in are going to be very heated. This might turn out to be the biggest event for the UFC for this year.
