Natalya Neidhart reveals WWE refused to air her father Jim’s funeral

Natalya Neidhart is upset that WWE refused to show her father Jim Neidhart’s funeral on the Total Divas show. Natalya thought it would be a great idea for WWE to make something educational about Alzheimer’s, but they refused it.

Total Divas was a TV show that aired from 2013 to 2019, and Natalya was the only person who was part of the main cast for all nine seasons. There are also many notable casts, such as The Bellas, Paige, Eva Marie, and Carmella.

Although at the end of the eighth season, there was a certain scene that WWE didn’t want the audience to see it aired after a long drama. Neidhart’s funeral aired in November 2018 on the season eight finale.

During a recent appearance on The Bellas podcast, the former Divas champion recalled WWE’s immature decision not to show her father’s funeral on the show. She talked about the necessity of that scene at the time.

Regardless, WWE later included the part, but it would have been interesting if they hadn’t. The question remains: what would’ve happened if WWE had refused to show their audience?

In the podcast, she mentioned, “On the WWE end, they tried to sugarcoat too many things; I really wanted to be able to share what was going on with Neidhart in his, you know, with his, with his condition, you know, with him having Alzheimer’s and stuff. I really wanted to talk about it more because Alzheimer’s is one of, like, the five leading causes of death in the world.”

The 40-year-old has been relatively inactive in WWE recently. However, her past achievements are there to fill in the blanks. She has won multiple titles in her career.

Having won the Divas Championship and SmackDown Women’s Championship once each and also being a one-time WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion with Tamina is pretty impressive. Her last appearance with World Wrestling Entertainment was in the WWE Evil series.
