Neymar met Spiderman actor Tom Holland at Monaco F1 Grand Prix, snubs PSG’s Ligue 1 winning party

Paris Saint-Germain superstar Neymar Jr. was spotted alongside Hollywood star Tom Holland attending the Monaco Grand Prix 2023 main event, despite PSG’s Ligue 1 title celebrations taking place just a day before.

Photos of the 31-year-old with the Red Bull team alongside “Spiderman” have surfaced online. The PSG forward missed the French champions’ celebrations on Saturday after their 1-1 draw with Strasbourg, but he made it to Monte Carlo without a hitch. While visiting the monarchy, he met celebrities like Michael Douglas and Orlando Bloom.

Surprisingly, he was absent from Paris Saint-Germain’s Ligue 1 winning party, who were confirmed champions after a 1-1 draw against Strasbourg on Sunday. Lionel Messi was absent from the party as well, as he reportedly went to Barcelona to attend a Coldplay concert.

Neymar’s Performances this Season

The superstar Brazilian forward missed out on a huge part of the season after succumbing to an injury in February in PSG’s game against LOSC Lille.

Neymar has made only 29 appearances for PSG this season. However, in those 29 games, he has scored 18 goals and provided 17 assists – a figure fitting his superstar title.

Is Neymar leaving PSG?

Despite being considered a top soccer player in the world, Neymar Jr.’s injury history took away from what he could have achieved throughout his career. Because he got injured at crucial times, Neymar’s relationship with the PSG crowd seems to have deteriorated, and many fans have protested against him in front of his Paris house.

Neymar is also currently one of the highest-paid soccer players, with an annual salary of $36.5 million. His contract with PSG runs until 2025. However, the Parisian club has stated on previous occasions that they will be listening to offers for the Brazilian forward.

After the showdown with the fans in front of his house, Neymar is also reportedly ready to leave PSG this summer. He has drawn attention from a variety of clubs, including Premier League giants Manchester United and Chelsea. There have also been reports that Neymar has been approached by a Saudi Arabian team, and could potentially make a switch to Saudi Pro League next season.

Nevertheless, should PSG decide to let one of their key players from the past few seasons go, they can’t be expecting to receive the $235 million they initially paid FC Barcelona for the Brazilian.
