Odell Beckham Jr. sparks excitement among fans with tease of possible return to Giants

Former New York Giants star Odell Beckham Jr. is still a free agent and is being considered one of the most promising picks for next season.

However, the franchises are reluctant to sign him because of his previous ACL injury, which made him miss the entire 2022–23 season. After winning the Super Bowl with the Los Angeles Rams, the injury also left him with no extension with the franchise.

Recent social media activity suggests the wide receiver is awaiting a new offer from his former team.

Where does Odell Beckham Jr. want to go this time?

The 30-year-old posted a clip of his training and recovery from the career-ending injury on Twitter and wrote in the caption: “Aiteee mfkeerr dis the deal ” The post was also shared by his former Giants teammate, Saquon Barkley.

The three-time pro bowler commented and indicated his desire to return to New York: “Tell Joe to call my agent 😂…. I’ve got some more sh*t left to do.”

Odell played five years for the Giants after being drafted as the 12th overall pick in the 2014 NFL draft. In that spell, he won NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year, PFWA All-Rookie Team, and Pro Bowl honors three times for the franchise.

However, after his departure, he couldn’t live up to his potential except for winning the Super Bowl ring in 2021. His career with the Giants also showed pretty decent stats: he scored 44 touchdowns and accumulated 5476 yards in receiving with a 62.7% completion rate.

As it seems, indicating the Giants’ GM Joe Schoen wants to make contact about a deal isn’t serious or anything. Beckham‘s true desire is yet to be known, and at this moment he might consider a respectful deal to return to the pitch after one year.

What’s your opinion on his return to the Giants? Do you think Odell Beckham Jr. will end up in New York? Let us know your opinion in the comments.
