Paul Heyman is here to spice things up in Roman Reigns heel turn

Friday Night Smackdown ends with an astonishing development as Paul Heyman enters the room in Roman Reigns heel turn. WWE’s master advocate, who’s seen mentoring several heels over the years, joins forces with the Big Dog on his conquest of ‘Wreak Everyone & Leave’.

Heyman’s last appearance in WWE Network was with his last client Brock Lesner in WrestleMania 36. Since then, the executive director of Raw was off the TV for the last couple of months.

When SmackDown was going off air, Paul Heyman was shown sitting right beside Reigns with a villainous smile in his face. This shocking release almost confirms Roman Reigns heel turn. It will be for the very first time Roman will play an antagonistic character.

WWE Producer Adam Pearce was running around the locker room to get the contract signing for the upcoming Universal Championship match done. After numerous tries, when he finally reached out to Roman, WWE revealed Roman’s new advocate.

As we’re heading into Payback 2020 pay-per-view, this moment was the closest to Reigns turning heel. Previously both of his Shield alliance Ambrose and Rollins turned heel at vital junctures of their career. Roman always stayed on the positive side despite fans booing.

So, it will be interesting to see how the former Shield leader takes his steps toward this new venture. Fans are already excited about this new angle. SportsZion’s comment box is open to take your voice on this matter. Feel free to share.
