Sean Strickland goes off on ‘piece of sh*t’ Jon Jones, offers retirement plan to ‘juiced out’ Conor McGregor

Sean Strickland unleashed criticism on Jon Jones, the reigning UFC Heavyweight Champion, and Conor McGregor, the former two-division champion, in classic Strickland fashion, boldly calling out both athletes.

Referring to Jones’ past, Strickland couldn’t help but allude to ‘the type of person’ he thinks Jon Jones is. Additionally, Sean dismissed McGregor’s career trajectory as irrelevant to the UFC now.

Sean Strickland lands heavy blow on Jon Jones

In a reference to the reigning UFC heavyweight champion, Jon “The Bones” Jones, Sean Strickland launched into a tirade, calling out Jones for his past actions and criminal behaviors.

“Jon Jones is a piece of sh*t,” said Strickland. “I know that. The entire world knows that. We don’t need to reiterate his past,” Sean continued.

Jon Jones, whilst actively holding the UFC Heavyweight title, has landed in legal troubles over and over in his career. Police arrested Jones a total of five times.

The first was for driving under the influence of alcohol in 2012. The police arrested Jones and the authorities suspended his license for six months.

The second instance, Jones found himself in the middle of a hit-and-run case. According to authorities, Jones allegedly jumped a red light, lost control, and crashed with another car, in which the passenger was pregnant. The UFC stripped him of his title after this incident.

Having violated probation twice after, Jon Jones’ most recent arrest came in 2021. Jones’ wife called the hotel and asked them to call the police after Jones attacked her. Later that night, police arrested Jones on charges of domestic violence, battery, misdemeanor, and damage to a police vehicle.

“He needs to sack up and fight Aspinall (Tom) and get this sh*t done,” concluded Strickland, referring to Jones’ holding onto the Heavyweight Title but also refusing to fight the Interim Heavyweight Champion, Tom Aspinall, who is clearly deserving of a title shot.

Sean Strickland brutally slams Conor McGregor

On the mention of Conor McGregor, Sean Strickland proceeded to call him irrelevant to the sport. “I mean, does anybody even care about Conor McGregor anymore?” said Strickland, referring to McGregor’s inactivity in the world of MMA after his last fight with Dustin Poirier in 2021.

“I mean he’s a juiced out, roided out …. like is he still a name in the UFC?” continued Strickland, referring to the muscle mass that Conor rapidly gained in his off-season, recovering from his injury.

“Go retire on a yacht or some sh*t,” concluded Sean, referring to the luxury yachts and boats that McGregor often likes to post about. According to Sean Strickland, Conor McGregor is too irrelevant for the UFC and should just peacefully retire.
