UFC 277: Julianna Pena vs Amanda Nunes 2 –fight card, date, time, location, live stream, TV channel, PPV price

Although UFC 277 is yet to take place until July 30 in Dallas, Texas, it’s never too early to start looking ahead to the promotion’s pay-per-view prospects.

In the main event, reigning featherweight champion Amanda Nunes challenges current women’s bantamweight champion Julianna Peña (11-4) in a title rematch for the title (21-5). By second-round submission in December, “The Venezuelan Vixen” overthrew “Lioness.”

Having defeated every female fighter who has ever held the UFC featherweight or bantamweight championship, Nunes entered the first battle on a 12-fight winning streak. Her winning streak had earned her the title of the best fighter in women’s MMA history. Peña was anticipated to be another obstacle in Nunes’ remarkable march. When Pena outclassed Nunes and then won with a rear-naked choke in the second round, she showed that she was much more than just an adversary.

Former flyweight champion Brandon Moreno will compete against Kai Kara-France in the co-main event for the provisional 125-pound title. In their trilogy match, Moreno was defeated by Deiveson Figueiredo in January by a narrow margin. Kara-France was defeated by Moreno in 2019 as part of his quest for the title.

Besides these two title fights, there are some other exciting contests on the card, as fighters such as Derrick Lewis, Sergei Pavlovich, Alexandre Pantoja, Alex Perez, Paulo Costa, Luke Rockhold, Magomed Ankalaev, and Anthony Smith look to cement their presence during the UFC 277 event.
