Recently, a heated exchange of words between tech titans Mark Zuckerberg and Elon Musk culminated in an unexpected agreement to settle their differences inside the boxing ring.
The rivalry ignited when Musk challenged Zuckerberg to a cage fight following the launch of Threads, a new Twitter competitor. What initially seemed like playful banter between these influential figures gradually gained momentum, capturing widespread attention and anticipation.
UFC president Dana White further fueled speculation by shedding light on the potential super fight between these two Silicon Valley giants. Interestingly, it appears that both Mark and Elon have already begun their training journeys.
Mark Zuckerberg joins UFC champs Adesanya and Volkanovski
Musk was spotted engaging in sparring sessions with renowned UFC legend Georges St-Pierre, indicating his dedication to preparing for the showdown.
Zuckerberg, on the other hand, embarked on his mixed martial arts training last year and proudly shared his participation in his first jiu-jitsu tournament in May.
Adding more fuel to the fire, UFC middleweight champion Adesanya recently posted a picture on Twitter, featuring himself, lightweight champ Volkanovski, and a shirtless Zuckerberg training together in the gym.

“No fugazi with Mark. This is Serious Business!” he captioned the post.
“It’s an honour to train with you guys,” Zuckerberg responded.
The trio reportedly came together to train at Meta’s California headquarters following the conclusion of Sunday’s UFC 290 event in Las Vegas.
Why are Musk and Zuckerberg fighting?
Elon, the CEO of Twitter, and Mark, the CEO of Meta, have ignited a firestorm in the online world through their back-and-forth exchange of challenges for a cage match. Musk further intensified the excitement by tweeting that there is a possibility the fight could take place at the iconic Colosseum in Rome.
However, it’s important to note that the primary motive behind this news is to generate buzz for the two major social media platforms. Particularly as Meta recently announced its rival app to Twitter called “Threads, an Instagram app.”
The rivalry between Elon and Zuckerberg has been ongoing for years. But a recent comment made by a Meta executive, suggesting that Twitter was being poorly managed, clearly irked Musk.
Consequently, the two influential figures took the opportunity to offer each other a chance to settle their differences through a cage fight.
Regarding their training regimens, Zuckerberg, aged 39, has pursued amateur mixed martial arts and has trained in the discipline of jiu-jitsu. On the other hand, Musk, aged 51, has self-proclaimed himself as a street fighter and claims to have experience as a trainer.
