UFC fans speculating Sean O’Malley’s next move following Dana White’s announcement of his 8-Fight Contract

Sean O’Malley has finally signed another 8 fight deal with the UFC and many are wondering what this could mean for the division as a whole. ‘Suger’ previously expressed his frustrations with the organization as the title picture went into limbo but recent developments could be teasing huge future events.

Addressing his confusion involving the Bantamweight title picture, Sean said, “It would be perfect: Me vs. Henry for the interim belt [at UFC 285], I wish they would. I texted [UFC Chief Business Officer] Hunter [Campbell], and I texted [UFC matchmaker] Sean Shelby. I said, ‘Will you at least give me an idea? Will you at least say yes or no? Is Henry vs. Aljo happening?’ They just don’t know.”

Now that he has an 8-fight we can speculate a few possibilities involving his division’s future. Firstly, the UFC still is confident about the star power of the former Ultimate Fighter Challenger despite his controversial win against Petr ‘No Mercy’ Yan. Secondly, the UFC may either give him the title or set him up as the gatekeeper to the title.

How did fans react to Sean O’Malley getting a new contract?

Fans did not react kindly to ‘Suger’s reaction after his super controversial win against Petr Yan. Not only did the 135lber play it off like he always was sure of his victory, but he also insulted some of the naysayers like UFC featherweight Bryce Mitchell. Many spectators didn’t like his post-victory actions.

Despite all this, there still seem to be some fans who are excited after the new contract with one writing, The bantamweight division is going to be the best division in the UFC. And Sean O’Malley is licking his lips because he knows he will be the biggest star in the UFC. His the next Conor Mcgregor.
