Crowd favorite Jorge Masvidal makes his return inside the octagon this weekend as he takes on welterweight rival Gilbert Burns in a three-round bout in the co-main event of UFC 287. This PPV is all set to take place at Gamebred’s hometown in Florida, Miami at the Miami-Dade Arena.
Going into this fight, both the welterweights made weight successfully and a few hours after the official weigh-ins, both Masvidal and Gilbert Burns stepped on the scales for the ceremonial weigh-ins. During the ceremonial weigh-ins, Jorge Masvidal surprised all the fans by bringing his children along with him to the stage.
It is needless to say that Gamebred bringing his children onto the stage at the ceremonial weigh-ins was a heartwarming moment. However, Masvidal’s decision to bring kids had mixed reactions from fight fans on social media. Because several fans have trolled the BMF by saying that Jorge is doing this because he knows it is his last UFC fight.

Be it in the press conference or the ceremonial weigh-ins, fans have given Gamebred the loudest of cheers. Because the former title challenger has confirmed during one of the media interviews, that if he fails to defeat Gilbert Burns then he will hang up his gloves. Therefore Gamebred is pushing for his last title run and it is needless to say that this is a must-win fight for him. Given the fact that he has suffered three consecutive losses.
