Watch: Ryan Spann gives brutal one word reaction to UFC Vegas 70 main event cancelation vs Nikita Krylov

Ryan Spann, who was going for his third straight victory by defeating Nikita Krylov in the main event of UFC Vegas 70, shared his reaction in one word after the fight got canceled.

Krylov’s unexpected physical illness due to food poisoning just a day before his next scheduled fight prevented Spann and Krylov from engaging in the octagon, which for both fighters was an unexpected and disappointing outcome.

Thousands of spectators who came to the arena to witness the light heavyweight bout between the Americans and the Ukrainians became extremely disappointed when the bout cancelation announcement came.

Ryan Spann (21-7-0), who won two of his 2022 bouts against Ion Cutelaba and Dominick Reyes, was eager to continue his winning streak. The 31-year-old fighter is really frustrated that the fight did not go as planned and that he did not have the opportunity to move up to the top five of the light heavyweight rankings.

Right after the bout was called off, the light heavyweight fighter currently standing at the number 8 position in the ranking, was asked to share his instant reaction. With no surprise, the American fighter  expressed his dissatisfaction with one word, “F—k,”

The 31-year-old fighter, who defeated Luis Henrique in his UFC debut in 2018, marking the start of a four-match winning streak, later shared his thoughts regarding the fight cancelation in detail.

“I just found out not even 10 minutes ago. Still trying to process it. Man, I was peeing. I had USADA in the back. My coach stormed in yelling for me. It was him, Hunter [Campbell], and Sean [Shelby], who let me know that I wasn’t going to be able to fight.” said Spann.

‘Superman’, however, wouldn’t describe it as a totally wasted camp because, in his opinion, they trained hard, worked hard, not only to prepare for this particular fight, but it is just sad that he couldn’t show his mixed martial arts skills to the fans.
