Weeks after blasting opponent through cage door, Josiah Harrell fills in for injured Sean Brady to face Jack Della Maddalena at UFC 290

In an update for UFC 290, there has been a change in the scheduled bout between Jack Della Maddalena and Sean Brady.

Unfortunately, Sean Brady is unable to compete in the fight due to an injury. As a result, Jack Della Maddalena will now be facing Josiah Harrell instead.

Undefeated Josiah Harrell to replace Sean Brady

Brady, who debuted in the UFC in 2019, fought Ismail Naurdiev at UFC Fight Night 151 and prevailed by unanimous decision. Brady defeated Court McGee in his second UFC fight by unanimous decision, showcasing his versatile skill set. 

By submitting Christian Aguilera and dominating Jake Matthews with his wrestling and control, the American fighter extended his winning streak and won both fights with ease. 

The 30-year-old fighter, whose overall record currently stands at 15-1-0, defeated Michael Chiesa too but suffered a defeat at the hands of Belal Muhammad last year. 

To match someone like Jack Della Maddalena, another force unstoppable force was required to fill in for Sean Brady. Josiah Harrell is set to give an exciting octagon shone against Jack.

Josiah, who had an incredible victory in the Legacy Fighting Alliance (LFA) against Michael Roberts is now all set to make his much-anticipated UFC debut.

Harrell, whose overall professional record is 7-0-0 is now getting ready to fill in for injured Sean. The welterweight prospect is hoping to stop Jack in his debut bout.

‘Muscle Hamster’ made his pro debut in 2020 in the Ohio Combat League against William Worley. With a triumphant start, Harrell went on to win five fights in a row.

Two years later, In CFFC 113 – Cage Fury Fighting Championships 113: Sears vs. Velasco, Harrell knocked out Tracy Reeder. However, his incredible victory against Michael this year grabbed everyone’s attention.
