The spouse of Amanda Nunes is Nina Nunes. Nina, previously known as Nina Ansaroff, was a mixed martial artist who competed in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) strawweight division. Like Nina, Amanda also announced her retirement from MMA today.
Amanda will be considered the top female pound-for-pound fighter for a very long time. As the first woman in UFC history to hold titles in two weight divisions at once is one of her finest achievements. ‘The Lioness’ had a 23-5-0 career record in mixed martial arts at the time of her retirement.

During her professional MMA career, Nina won 11 matches and lost 7. ‘The Strina’ was renowned for her versatile skills and strong grappling prowess.
Nina won 5 of her 9 fights during her UFC tenure, defeating formidable foes like Angela Hill, Claudia Gadelha and Randa Markos. In August 2022, the American fighter competed in her final UFC match against Cynthia Calvillo.
The 37-year-old fighter has been concentrating on her personal life with her wife Amanda after declaring her retirement from mixed martial arts in 2022.

After dating for five years, Amanda and Nina were married in 2019. Since that time, both inside and outside of the octagon, Amanda and Nina have been a very happy couple.
The couple who’s been together for ten years now, has a daughter now. On September 24 2020, the UFC couple welcomed 2020 Raegan Ann Nunes into the world.

Amanda Nunes retires following win over Irene Aldana at UFC 289
In the UFC 289 main event today in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, Amanda prevailed over Irene to retain her bantamweight title. After winning the five-round fight by scores of 50-44, 50-44, and 50-43, the legendary Brazilian MMA fighter decided to retire.
At the age of 36, Nunes finally decided to retire after ten successful years in the world’s top MMA promotion. The Brazilian fighter even while retiring, held the bantamweight and featherweight gold strap.
