These incredible triumphs have contributed to Nunes’ elevation to the list of the best female fighters of all time. The Brazilian fighter’s accomplishments have made her one of the most dominant fighters in the history of the Ultimate Fighting Championship.
Among all of her fights, the bout versus Ronda Rousey at UFC 207 on December 30, 2016, was arguably the most significant one. As the first woman to successfully defend the UFC Women’s Bantamweight title twice, ‘The Lioness’ triumph marked a significant turning point in her career.
