Conor McGregor labels his UFC return as “too good to be true” following Dana White’s announcement of bout vs Michael Chandler later this year

For UFC fans, the presence of Conor McGregor has always brought in a different energy. The former two-division champ became as famous for his trash-talking prowess as he did for some of his more impressive displays of combat capabilities. With TUF 31 coming up soon, both fans and the fighter recognize how interesting it all feels.

One of the fans wrote about the ‘Notorious’s return, “Something just don’t feel right”. ‘Mystic Mac’ took notice of the joke and decided to chime in, “It’s like it’s too good to be true hahaha…” While McGregor may make such comments jokingly, the leg injury he suffered during his match against Dustin ‘Diamond’ Poirier seemed serious.

There were accusations of Conor using steroids after he posted some recovery photos and even he kind of confessed. Added to this were the lawsuits by his former friend Artem Lobov regarding the ownership of the ‘Porper 12’ brand along with accusations of assaulting a woman on a Yacht.

When all these controversies began to emerge one after the other, suddenly the former lightweight’s comeback process became accelerated and both the official announcement plus his move to Vegas happened in quick succession.

How is Conor McGregor looking ahead of his return?

We will let Conor say it himself, “I’m looking forward to it. I feel good, I feel energetic, I feel ready. I’m throwing up my high kicks faster than I’m throwing out my jab, so I’m very excited to get back.”

His opponent Michael Chandler also seems ready, “He’s going to feel my presence from the very beginning of the fight and then from there wherever the fight takes us. If I want to pick him up and put him down, I can pick him up and put him down and put a beating on him and get a submission that way. I believe I finish Conor in the second round.”

TUF 31 is expected to begin filming soon.
