Conor McGregor Was Once Allegedly Invited to FIFA World Cup 2018 by Vladimir Putin

Conor McGregor was allegedly invited to the 2018 World Cup in Russia by their President Vladimir Putin.

By profession, Conor McGregor squares up against the baddest men on the planet. But even so, he has never showed any sign of fear. Despite that, there was one man who really did bring out the fear in Conor. And that person is none other than Russian President Vladimir Putin.

The former two-division UFC champion was in attendance at Moscow for the 2018 World Cup final, and he met with the 70-year old Putin.

McGregor’s YouTube channel ‘TheMacLife’ filmed their exchange, and the two were seen having a brief talk. They then posed for a photo, but McGregor made the mistake of placing his arm around Putin’s shoulder.

McGregor’s facial expression changed dramatically when one of his security guards appeared to assure the Notorious One that there would be no such thing.

A clip surfaced showing Putin having a small conversation. Regarding the meeting, Conor said, “Today I was invited to the World Cup final as a guest of Russian President Vladimir Putin,”

“This man is one of the greatest leaders of our time and I was honored to attend such a landmark event alongside him.

“Today was an honor for me Mr. Putin. Thank you and congratulations on an amazing World Cup.”

Conor has been out of action since he broke his leg during his fight against Dustin Poirier.
