Donald Trump causes stir in Miami UFC 287 with surprise appearance to back Dana White, Jorge Masvidal

A very special person attended UFC 287 and sat cage-side to witness the fights. By watching the event alongside him and cheering for Jorge Masvidal in the night’s co-main event, Donald Trump made the night extra special for Dana White.

On the evening of April 8 in Miami, the Miami-Dade Arena hosted UFC 287. Israel Adesanya and Alex Pereira’s battle was the main attraction of the night. The Last Stylebender gets even with Poatan and regained his crown. But Trump had a particular interest in the night’s co-main event between Jorge Masvidal and Gilbert Burns.

Who did Donald Trump back at UFC 287?

It is commonly known that Donald Trump enjoys a variety of sports, including mixed martial arts. A very close bond between the UFC president and the 45th president of the United States of America is also well known. Trump has already attended UFC events at Dana White’s invitation so many times before and relished the chance to experience the splendor of MMA in person.

The Miami native Jorge Masvidal, though, was a favorite of Trump this time around inside the cage. Gamebred lost against Gilbert Burns in a decision, hence he was unable to impress the former US president with his MMA skills.

Masvidal’s UFC career is ended after he lost for the sixth time in his previous nine fights and fourth time in a row. The 33-year-old fighter, on the other hand, appeared to be having a fantastic time earlier this week while accompanying Trump to a rally. Masvidal made Trump happy despite the fact that ‘John Barron’ presumably wasn’t pleased with his performance.

Gamebred hailed former President Trump when he announced his retirement from the UFC saying, “Greatest president in the history of the world, I love that guy,”
