The fight between Shavkat Rakhmonov and Geoff Neal was initially scheduled to take place on January 14 at UFC Vegas 67. Rakhmonov was well prepared for the bout but later it appeared the bout won’t happen because Geoff Neal was forced to pull out of the bout due to a sudden injury. The good news is the fight has been rescheduled for UFC 285 on March 4th.

The Kazakh MMA fighter has won all four of his battles in the last three years. That explains the excitement for his next fight against Geoff Neal. He worked extremely hard to prepare for the battle. When the American fighter got injured, Shavkat’s hopes were shattered. Neal, on the other hand, has won two of his last four fights.

The bout between Geoff Neal and Shavkat Rakhmonov has reportedly been rescheduled, according to a recent update from an ESPN reporter, which may just give the fans an adrenaline rush. The reporter also provided information regarding the date, time, and location of the fight, mentioning that it might occur at UFC 285 on March 4 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

“Welterweight fight between Geoff Neal (@handzofsteelmma) and Shavkat Rakhmonov (@Rakhmonov1994) that was booked for Jan. 14 has been rebooked for UFC 285 on March 4, per sources,” Okamoto tweeted. 

Handz Of Steel won two of his most recent fights, defeating Vicente Luque and Santiago Ponzinibbio, while Rakhmonov’s unbeaten streak includes wins against Neil Magny, Alex Oliveira, Michel Prazeres, and Carlston Harris. When they square off, each will be hoping to extend their winning streak. The fight between Shavkat Rakhmanov and Geoff Neal is one that many fans are looking forward to seeing.
