This was after Adesanya posted a few pictures on Instagram in a not-so-masculine pose. He can be seen his legs crossed and hands on his hips in the pictures. He has been getting derogatory tweets about his body.

Someone tweeted ‘the last nipple bender’ along with ‘transbender’. However, his fans are showing unwavering support for Adesanya.
Fans came to Adesanya’s aid

Adesanya has chosen to rise above the hate. He acknowledges the love of his fans. The fighter tweeted “Thank you to all my real supporters for holding it down for me. You are the reason I keep going.”
His response made his fans continue to defend him more. The fans are making sure they are heard. The social media is flooded with them pointing out that Adesanya’s gender expression has nothing to do with his fighting skills.
They are paving their way for Adesanya through disgusting comments and tweets. The fans are exclaiming that his ability to be a champion has nothing to do with a mere Instagram post.
This is not the first time Adesanya has been under fire from critics for his fashion choices. Previously some fans have questioned his sexuality and blasted him online.
