Belal Muhammad has hit out at Tony Ferguson for saying that Muhammad has been stealing Tony’s style by wearing sunglasses inside the octagon.
Banter between UFC fighters will never cease to exist, and on this episode of UFC banters, we have got Belal Muhammad and Tony Ferguson. Belal has a habit of wearing sunglasses inside the octagon. This is something that is quite synonymous with Tony Ferguson.
Speaking to Ariel Helwani on the MMA Hour Podcast, Ferguson said,” He(Belal) had his sunglasses on, and I looked at him, and said, “You used to clown me for sunglasses, and now you’re the one wearing them. He’s like ‘I’m the sunglasses guy.’ And I’m like, ‘ You’ll never be the sunglasses guy.'”
The number 5 Welterweight was quick to respond with a tweet of his own,

Even though this seems like harmless banter, a fight between these two should be interesting. Although they fight in different weight classes, either one of them could come down.
As for the present, Belal “Remember The Name” Muhammad is coming off an impressive decision victory over Vicente Luque. He has been calling for a title shot, but it remains to be seen when he gets that shot.
As for Tony Ferguson, he was victim to one of the most brutal knockouts in UFC history at the hands of Michael Chandler. “El Cucuy” has four fights in a row. It will be interesting to see how his career proceeds from here on.
