Khabib “The Eagle” Nurmagomedov is a man of many talents. He has a very high fight IQ, elite-level grappling, and superb adaptability. Even Khabib’s spoken English improved heap and bounds in just a very short time! The eagle himself has revealed the reason, He says he was not a bad student when he was younger!
Khabib’s long-time coach and friend Javier Mendez often posts hilarious videos of Khabib’s fighting group and their antics from inside the AKA. Recently, Khabib’s cousin Umar Nurmagomedov told his coach to “Buy him a ticket, and send him to Russia” because of super hard training exercises by coach Khabib.

Khabib can be seen reading fan mails for his fellow Russian fighters who aren’t so adept in English. Coach Javier asks the lightweight GOAT how he became so good to which Khabib replies “I was not bad student”. It seems he was sincere in both academics and combat training.
Khabib remains the only champion in UFC history to retire as an undefeated fighter. Elite fighters such as Conor Mcgregor, Dustin Porier and Justin Gaethje along with 26 others all tried to solve Khabib’s puzzle inside the octagon but were unable to do so. This is due to Khabib’s unparalleled octagon control and smart grappling.
