“If you’re listening, sir, please don’t sign” UFC commentator Joe Rogan urges Francis Ngannou not to sign an exclusive deal with another promotional company

Joe Rogan, a color commentator for the UFC, requested former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou to hold off on signing any contracts for the time being.

Francis Ngannou hasn’t settled on a new promotion since leaving the UFC, but he has said he wants to try boxing and has his sights set on a fight against Tyson Fury.

Former heavyweight champion Francis made the decision to leave Ultimate Fighting Championship a few weeks ago after seven outstanding years as he and UFC President Dana White couldn’t come to an agreement.

It is to be anticipated that a great number of UFC’s competitors in the mixed martial arts industry will present the heavyweight fighter with attractive contract offers. For example, the president of Bellator, Scott Coker, already has shown his enthusiasm about the potential of signing the heavyweight.

In a recent episode of The Joe Rogan Experience, Rogan discussed the Francis situation and offered his advice on how the heavyweight fighter can move forward with his career. If The Predator is offered a huge sum of money, Rogan thinks Francis should take the deal, but he shouldn’t sign an exclusive contract with any MMA promotion just yet.

“The perfect world is, (Ngannou) goes over, has some big money, heavyweight boxing fight, Jon Jones and Ciryl Gane have a fight, Jon wins, Ciryl wins; whoever wins, whoever wins is the UFC champ. And then Francis comes back. He can totally come back. Francis, if you’re listening, sir, please don’t sign an exclusive contract.” said Rogan.

There has been much discussion among mixed martial arts fans ever since the UFC announced that Jon Jones would fight Ciryl Gane for the vacant heavyweight title following Francis Ngannou’s departure.

Do you think there is any chance Francis Ngannou will compete in the UFC again?
