“I’m coming to get them”: Gervonta Davis claims he wants Devin Haney, Vasyl Lomachenko and Shakur Stevenson after Ryan Garcia bout

Gervonta Davis is set to take on Ryan Garcia. However, he has already set his sights on his next opponents. Without wasting any time, Davis named Devin Haney, Vasyl Lomachenko, and Shakur Stevenson on his “hit list.”

‘Tank’ is scheduled to take on ‘KingRy’ on April 22. However, the undefeated boxer is looking beyond this fight already. Back in December 2022, he said that he was pushing for a fight against Shakur. And according to boxing reporter Micheal Benson, Davis has reiterated that ambition. He has mentioned two names that he was keen about previously too.

On January 7, 2023, Davis defended his WBO title against Hector Garcia. Many saw that fight as a preparation fight for Davis as he was already scheduled for Ryan Garcia at that point in time. Even though Hector was 16-0 back then, Ryan was heralded as the bigger threat. For someone who relies on his boxing acumen, Davis can find it hard against the fast hands of Ryan.

Gervonta Davis has a hit list

Riding high on the 27-fight win streak, Davis will look to extend the feat. This is one of the biggest boxing bouts of the year as well. Which is why Davis ‘ announcement was somewhat surprising. A revelation so astonishing that is making rounds on the news even when he has not even had the fight with Ryan.

Devin will most definitely have a big fight for Davis. The American has held the WBC title since 2019. He also has WBO, IBF WBA and Ring belts cinched around his waist since 2022. He is mighty impressive, winning all 29 of his pro fights on his way to becoming the undisputed lightweight champion.

If all parties get the job done in their next fights, Davis and Stevenson will also meet all the hallmarks of a big-money fight. Stevenson is undefeated since turning pro after winning a silver medal at the 2016 Summer Olympics. He also holds the WBC and ring super featherweight championships in 2022.

On the other hand, Lomachenko is probably the most versatile of the three. He had multiple championships in three different weight divisions. The Ukrainian was a unified champion as well. Despite his two career losses, it is easy to understand why Davis has named him as one of his potential opponents.

While Davis has sparked a new interest with this audacious announcement, he will have to focus on Ryan for now. The fight has all the elements to be one of the great fights of the year.

Who do you think will come out as the victor out of this bout?
