Manel Kape labels ex-UFC champ Israel Adesanya his “bitch” following shocking Sean Strickland loss

Israel Adesanya lost his UFC middleweight title to Sean Strickland at UFC 293, marking one of the biggest upsets in UFC history. Strickland asserted his dominance in the final seconds of the first round with a powerful straight right hand.

The American fighter also maintained control over the Nigerian fighter in the subsequent rounds. In response to Adesanya’s defeat, Angolan featherweight fighter Manel Kape has made some bold comments.

Manel Kape slams Israel Adesanya

Several days ago, Adesanya took to Twitter and said, ‘Who the fuck are you? – Lol, I’m the mothafuckin Champ,’ in reference to Manel Kape. The featherweight contender waited for the perfect opportunity to respond to Adesanya following his significant upset to Sean Strickland. Manel Kape replied to Adesanya.

Manel Kape responded with, ‘Naaaa, you’re not. You are my bitch forever. I set your ass down African style,’ to Adesanya’s tweet from a few days ago where the former UFC champion claimed he’s the ‘motherfucking champ.’

Following Kape’s response, UFC fans had a laugh. One fan commented, ‘This aged poorly,’ and another remarked, ‘It’s always so weird to see a smaller fighter talk so much trash, as if he would have ANY chance in an MMA fight against Adesanya.” tweeted another fan in favor of Adesanya.

This isn’t the first time that Manel and Izzy have had a feud. A few days ago, during the pre-fight press conference for UFC 293, Kape and Adesanya engaged in a verbal altercation. It started when Manel began criticizing Adesanya’s teammate, Kai Kara France, who was initially scheduled to fight Kape at UFC 293 but had to withdraw from the bout due to injury.

‘Tarzan’ delivered the performance of his career at UFC 293 to become the new UFC middleweight champion. The first round started slowly, with both fighters chasing each other and landing calf kicks.

Strickland increased the pace in the final seconds of the first round and landed a brutal straight right hand that caused Adesanya to stumble, followed by a barrage of punches.

The Last Stylebender dominated the second round with kicks and jabs, winning that round. Sean proceeded to win all the following rounds and consistently landed multiple jabs in each of them.
