Manon Fiorot desires bout with top contender Alexa Grasso prior to taking on title holder Valentina Shevchenko

Manon Fiorot is a French professional MMA artist who currently fights in the women’s flyweight division of the UFC. Fiorot started her professional MMA career in June 2018 and has only lost one bout against Leah McCourt, which was her debut match. Other than that, Fiorot has won 10 of her 11 MMA fights, and she is now thought to be the most worthy contender for the women’s flyweight title.

In her last appearance, Fiorot took down the former UFC women’s flyweight title challenger Katlyn Chookagian by a unanimous victory on the main card of this year’s biggest UFC PPV event, UFC 280. Till date, it is Fiorot’s most famous and noteworthy victory. After that victory, Fiorot was happy and in a recent interview talked about who could be her next opponent.

“Let me tell you, I never say no when the UFC team asks about an opponent never. Two days before the fight, I never say no. I agree, I think (a fight against Alexa Grasso) is a good choice. Alexa, call us. She talked about the fight, and she called for the winner of me and Katelyn, so I have to say yes. For sure I’d do this. I think she’s a good striker, and it’s a good fight for the fans and the division.”

Before participating in the flyweight title bout, Fiorot expressed her desire to fight against Alexa Grasso. The French fighter also justified why she wanted to fight against Grasso. Fiorot felt she lacked experience, which would be a setback for her. That’s why before the title clash she wants to participate in at least one fight to gather more experience.

“I’m pretty sure right now Valentina has experience on me. I understand I just have five fights on the big stage in the UFC. I think one more is good for my career and my thinking about my fight I.Q.

On the other hand, Alexa Grasso is also a brilliant fighter in the UFC flyweight division. In her most recent bout, in the main event of UFC Vegas 62, she secured a unanimous victory over Viviane Araujo. If the fight actually takes place it will be a treat for the UFC fans and the winner will get the opportunity for the title shot
