Max Verstappen provides project idea to $195bn digital platform featuring Lewis Hamilton

The wounds of Max Verstappen’s Abu Dhabi 2021 win seem to stay poignant in the F1 community and the drivers themselves, the banter never seems to stop because a certain side has started dominating Formula 1 with immense pressure in the recent years.

After ‘Super-Max’ was able to break yet another record in Formula-1, there have been recent spicy comments from some famous personalities who liked to remark on his achievements because they are ‘unimpressed’ by them. Max Verstappen decided to amuse himself while reacting to these remarks.

Max Verstappen hits out at Hamilton

The reigning world champion certainly wasn’t impressed by Lewis’ comments about his teammates. Max and Lewis have been fostering an impressive rivalry and the war of words haven’t taken a pause. Here’s what Max had to say to Lewis,

“It’s not nice of Hamilton towards the teammates I’ve had, but it’s ironic that after his interview in Monza, many of my teammates were ahead of him in qualifying. I respect the dominance of others and Lewis’s titles in the past,” Verstappen qouted.

“In my view, it doesn’t need to be about others’ teammates. It’s about your own performance, how you perform in your race weekends and how you work together with your team. The rest is secondary. Maybe there’s a bit of jealousy. Good for Netflix? That doesn’t concern me much either,” he added.

The Netflix comment famously references how Drive to Survive portrays F1 rivalry, which is, by showing intense animosity among the contenders.

Verstappen’s reply to Toto Wolff

Toto Wolff put out a really sarcastic comment when asked about Max Verstappen’s 10 consecutive win record. How these victories were only for ‘Wikipedia and do not really matter to anyone’.

Verstappen spoke to Sportskeeda, during the FIA conference,

“I’m not disappointed in that, but I mean they had a pretty sh*t race so probably he was still pissed off with their performance. He almost sounds like he’s an employee of our team sometimes, you know? But no, luckily not. I think it’s just important that you focus on your own team. That’s what we do as well.

That’s what we did in the past as well when we were behind them and when they were dominating and I think you should be able to appreciate when a team is doing really well, which I think we’ve done in the past because it worked also as a kind of inspiration,

It seems that Max Verstappen wasn’t really impressed about how Toto Wolff put down his record, so he decided to add his own remark while taking a dig at the Mercedes principal.

In the world of Formula 1 there is always a dominant team, but the sheer entertainment lies in these small moments where the contenders engage not only on the track but behind the mics too.
