Nate Diaz made headlines for all the wrong reasons last weekend at the Misfits 006 event in New Orleans. The Stockton Slugger attacked Chase Demoor by throwing a bottle during the event and as a result, he had to leave the arena. Thereafter Diaz choked out a Logan Paul lookalike influencer and knocked him out cold outside the stadium.
Consequently, the New Orleans police issued an arrest warrant for Nate on Monday. As of now, Nate Diaz has been charged with second-degree battery by the police. Following this news, former UFC middleweight champion Michael Bisping shared his concerns about Nate’s actions and criticized the police for issuing an arrest warrant.
“They come after your money. They come after your paper. They come after your hard-earned cash”, Bisping said about the police trying to arrest Diaz.
The UFC commentator also added “He’s almost 40 years old. Got to be careful because one day that could catch up with you. Remember, a lot of people are carrying guns these days. He could have been stabbed. The guy could have cracked his head as he went down. Fortunately, none of that happened and he’s not even gonna sue him. That would be the number one thing I’d worry about.”
It is needless to say that Nate Diaz is lucky as the Tiktok star did not lodge a complaint to him after suffering brutal bruises on the back of his head.
Michael Bisping claims that Nate Diaz is trying to hype up his boxing bout against Jake Paul
While speaking on his YouTube channel, Michael Bisping said that Nate Diaz has earned a significant amount of money in his career and is aware of his actions. The Count claims that The Stockton Slugger is doing everything to promote his boxing bout against Jake Paul and hype up the audience.
“Obviously, he’s co-promoting that fight, but the hilarity and the pre-fight hype doesn’t end there because let’s be honest, this is pre-fight hype.
However, Bisping defended Nate’s actions and revealed that he used to feel the same way about promoting before his fight. Do let us know in the comments section your thoughts on Nate Diaz attacking the Logan Paul lookalike and Chase Demoor.
