Draymond Green Wants NBA Fans Running on Court Prosecuted

Golden State Warriors star, Draymond Green has called out for the fans who ran out to the court during the game, only to be prosecuted as they endanger players.

Recently in the NBA playoffs game between the Memphis Grizzlies and the Minnesota Timberwolves, a female fan rushed the game. Security was quick to tackle her and drag her away from the court.

According to reports, the Minnesota fans are protesting the games because Glen Taylor, the owner of the Timberwolves killed millions of Chickens to prevent bird flu.

This protest in the 4th game comes after a fan chained herself to the basket post in a prior game. She even distributed leaflets. The game was delayed as she was removed from the premises.

As the Grizzlies and Timberwolves were going at it, the fans’ antics stopped the game for a moment. Much to the annoyance of the on-field players and the basketball community alike.

Draymond Green, who plays for the Golden State Warriors tweeted out in response to the incident. He emphasized that the athletes would be sued by the fans had they defended themselves from any possible attacks.

His tweet reads:

Pitch invasion or “storming the court” is a regular phenomenon in almost all field sports in the world. Pitch invasions occur due to a number of reasons, ranging from political protests to fans looking to meet their favorite athletes. With 3 games left in the Grizzlies-Timberwolves series, there is a very high possibility that fan drama will take center stage.

The series is tied 2-2 after four games, this may very well go down to the 7th game.
